2017 Alta Colina Vineyard Syrah
The fruit was picked on 9/6/17 and crushed the same day. It was fermented in bins before being barreled down to one new blonde toast puncheon and aged for 22 months.
Quite dark in the glass, this single-vineyard expression kicks off with plenty of charred meat and blackberry-compote aromas on the nose. The palate is quite cohesive, showing blackberry, black pepper and floral tones that rise from a very balanced texture and acidity. All of the elements will further converge with patience.
